Welcome to my corner. My name is Eric, and I have been a concept artist and comic illustrator since 2015. I graduated from American Intercontinental University with a Bachelors in Fine Arts in Game Design & Theory in 2013. Over the years, I have worked with artists such as Donivan Howard and Craig Brasco. I have also worked on mobile game production with indie studio CellBloc studios. Most recently I have been working on a self-produced short comic named “X/O”.
I started my art career illustrating and creating with only two colors, black and white. With the ability to create and convey emotion, action, depth, personality and imagination through this medium; I began my journey into creating character art, graphic novel illustrations and storyboard panels.
In 2012, I met one of my lifelong mentors in Donivan Howard who showed me the world that was character creation. In learning the process and development of a story through clothing, expression, physique and more, I began to see the world in a new way when it came to creating and telling a story. This has made me the artist I am today. I have since expanded my techniques into digital painting with PhotoShop and ProCreate on iPad as well as graphic marker rendering with Copic and TomBow markers.
After graduating college, I began freelancing and interning at CellBloc studio. This is where I learned the production process of creating concept art for character development. Since then I have been freelancing and creating personal short stories in my free time.
